Recruited: Psychiatric Disorders Taking Specific Medication
Objective
We were charged with recruiting patients age 21+, with physician diagnosed psychiatric disorders, including bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Additional criteria included a history of taking any of the following medications: Risperidone, Paliperidone, Clozapine, Aripiprazole, Quetiapine, or Olanzapine.
The study was limited to one site, and did not utilize mobile phlebotomists. Therefore, we were limited to targeting potential patients with means of transportation, within 40 miles of the site.
Results
Our online advertising campaign was seen by 182,887 highly targeted individuals, within 40 miles of the study site. 6,363 of these people interacted with our campaign, with 239 of them submitting their information directly to our client.
The centralized campaign expedited the enrollment and 160 donors were successfully recruited within 5 months.
